Sumia (known as Sammy) started her career in Acute Medicine 22 years ago, after qualifying with an Advanced Diploma in Adult Nursing at the University of Bradford. She has 22 years experience in Nursing in both the NHS and Private sector specialising in Acute Medicine & Pallative care. She has spent the past 15 years specialising in Ophthalmology & ENT and worked herself up to a band 6 Nurse practitioner. Her role advancing to an Intravitreal Injector and became the first nurse to be trained up in an independent Nurse-led Botox clinic for patients suffering from Blepharospasm & Hemi-facial spasm. From this she wanted to advance her skills and knowledge into the cosmetic world alongside her NHS job. She now has 5 years experience as an Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner.

With three years of hands-on experience, I’m passionate about helping people feel confident in their skin. I’m currently studying Adult Nursing with the aim of progressing into Dermatology Nursing to further enhance my clinical skills and the care I provide.
